Giovanni Rossignoli (born December 3, 1882 in Pavia , † June 27, 1954 ) was an Italian cyclist .

Giovanni Rossignoli was a professional racing cyclist from 1903 to 1914 and from 1919 to 1927. During his sporting career he was of great constancy, even if he failed to achieve great success.

In 1903 Rossignoli drew attention to himself with two victories; he won the Corsa Nazionale and La Seiconto. In 1905 he won Milan – Turin and was second in the Lombardy Tour , in 1906 he won at Milan – Mantua and in 1907 at the Coppa Val d'Olona. In 1907 he was also third in the Italian road championship.

Giovanni Rossignoli was able to place himself well several times in the big tours. In the Tour de France , in which he took part eight times, he was tenth in 1908 , 29th in 1923 , 19th in 1925 , and in 1926 he was 21st in the overall Tour standings. He was more successful at the Giro d'Italia , which he rode nine times: in 1909 he won two stages and came third, in 1911 he won one stage and came second and in 1912 he was third again. In other starts he finished in the top ten of the overall standings.

In June 2011, in Rossignoli's hometown of Pavia, a park near his former home was named Parco Giovanni Rossignoli .
