Posterior meningeal artery

The middle meningeal artery posterior ( "rear meninges - artery ") is a vessel branch ascending pharyngeal artery (branch of the external carotid artery ), which the dura mater of the posterior fossa supplied. It reaches the cranial cavity through the jugular foramen . The posterior meningeal artery forms anastomoses with the anterior meningeal artery and the middle meningeal artery .
