Arteria pancreatica magna
The arteria pancreatica magna ("large pancreatic artery ") is an artery in the abdominal cavity . It arises roughly in the middle of the splenic artery ( arteria splenica ) and pulls into the body of this organ on the back surface of the pancreas . There it branches and anastomoses in the area of the tail of the pancreas with the inferior pancreatic artery .
