Arthur Keaveney

Arthur Keaveney ( July 8, 1951 - June 23, 2020 ) was an Irish ancient historian .

Keaveney was a lecturer in Ancient History at the University of Kent . According to Herbert Heftner , his Sulla biography, published in its second edition in 2005, is one of the works "to which we owe significant advances in knowledge in the area of ​​Roman history around the turn of the 2nd to the 1st century BC." His Lucullus biography was translated into Polish translated.
