Arthur Lehmann (politician, 1886)

Arthur Lehmann (born July 30, 1886 in Sommerfeld , district of Crossen ; † July 12, 1966 in Langenhagen ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Arthur Lehmann was born in the early days of the German Empire . At the time of the First World War he was a co-founder of the Reich Association of War Disabled and combatants . He was later elected chairman of the Lower Saxony regional association.

Arthur Lehmann worked as a union secretary. From March 3, 1954 to May 5, 1955 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (2nd electoral period).

Lehmannstrasse

According to the address book of the following year , Lehmannstrasse, which was laid out in the Davenstedt district of Hanover in 1970 , was named after the late Arthur Lehmann, who had previously "carried out a major construction project in this area".
