Artillery barracks in Wieden

The artillery barracks Wieden was in the 4th Vienna district Wieden in Gußhausstraße 27-29 or Favoritenstraße fifth

This building was built in 1794 and was used as a barracks by the Austro-Hungarian Army until 1843 . From 1843 to 1856 the artillery field equipment office was located here. From 1856 until the demolition in 1916, the district court of Wieden was located here . The Electrotechnical Institute , completed in 1973, was built on the site that had remained undeveloped until 1967 .
