Arturo Frias

Arturo Frias (* 27. October 1955 in East Los Angeles , California , United States ) is a former boxer in the lightweight .

He won his first 20 professional fights and experienced his first defeat in his 21st fight, at the end of May 1981, against Ernesto España . In December of the same year, he won the WBA world title when he knocked out Claude Noel in a 15-round fight in the 8th round.

He defended the title the following year against España and lost it to Ray Mancini .
