Arturo Goetz

Arturo L. Goetz (born June 24, 1944 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ; died July 28, 2014 there ) was an Argentine actor .

Life

In his youth he played in amateur film groups. From 1971 to 1974 he studied economics at Jesus College and received his doctorate . In the 1960s he traveled to Oxford on a scholarship during the Onganía dictatorship . Goetz then worked at the United Nations in Switzerland and moved to Rome in 1976 , where he lived until 1983. Eventually he returned to Buenos Aires and began his acting career. He learned from Agusto Fernández and Miguel Guerberof, among others. Since 1998 he has appeared in more than 40 film and television productions. He won the Cóndor de Plata in 2007 for his role in the film Derecho de Familia .
