Arubianus
Arubianus or Arubinus was a Celtic god known only through inscriptions from the Roman province of Noricum .
The name is interpreted as the Celtic for "plowman" or "god of the plowed field". Sometimes he is also believed to be the local god of the Roman-Celtic settlement Arrubium ( Măcin , Romania ), although his followers must have spread his cult to other areas.
In Roman times, Arubianus was identified with the god Jupiter , so that it may have been a sky god or father of gods. On the other hand, Jupiter was also the patron god of the Roman settlements, so that the equation can also apply to a local deity.
