As-Sidr ( Arabic السدر, also transcribed as (Ras) es-Sider , al Sidr or al Sidra ) is a Libyan company settlement and an important oil loading terminal on the Mediterranean .

The place is located in the municipality of Surt , approx. 10 km west of the residential area of Ras Lanuf and 30 km southeast of Ben Jawad on the Gulf of Sidra (Great Syrte), which is named after this place. The local Al Sidra Airport or Matratin Airport is a landing pad for the local oil industry. The airfield has a runway (13/31) that is around 2100 m long.

During the uprisings in Libya in early March 2011, fierce fighting broke out between the insurgents, who were advancing from the east towards the western regional capital Surt , and the regime's air force, which attacked the Es Sider oil loading terminal. Several tanks were on fire.
