The Ascari KZ1 is a sports car model from the British small series manufacturer Ascari Cars .

The car is limited to 50 pieces. The KZ1 is powered by the V8 engine from the BMW M5 (E39) with a displacement of 4941 cm³ . This engine has been optimized in terms of performance and now delivers a maximum of 373 kW (507 hp) instead of 294 kW (400 hp). Due to the body and monocoque chassis in CFRP construction, the Ascari KZ1 weighs only 1330 kg.

Thanks to its favorable power-to-weight ratio , the car accelerates from standstill to 100 km / h in 3.7 seconds. This value is comparable to that of the Pagani Zonda , for example . The maximum speed is given as 320 km / h. The maximum torque is 500 Newton meters. The brake system comes from AP Racing (front: 6 pistons, rear: 4 pistons).
