Aschat Borantajew ( Russian Асхат Борантаев ; born August 22, 1978 in Taldyqorghan , Kazakh SSR ) is a former Kazakh football player .

Career

Borantajew began his career at Namys Almaty , for which he played a total of eleven games. After the club had disbanded, he came in 1998 for the first time at FK ZSKA Almaty in the highest Kazakh league, the Premjer League , used.

After two years, Borantajew moved to Tobyl Qostanai . For Tobyl he completed a total of 78 games and scored one goal. After two years in Qostanai, he played for FK Taras from 2004 and was able to win the Kazakh Football Cup with the club in 2004 .

In the 2006 season, Aschat Borantajew was under contract with the Kazakh first division club Yessil Bogatyr Petropawl . After the season he was committed to Qaisar Qysylorda until 2009 .

From 2010 to 2014, the midfielder played for Shakhtar Karagandy , with whom he won the Kazakh championship in 2011 and 2012. After the 2014 season, he ended his career.
