Ashan

The Ashan site ( Chinese  阿 善 遗址 , Pinyin āshàn yízhǐ ) is a site of a 6,000 to 4,200 year old Neolithic culture in Baotou , Inner Mongolia , in northern China . It was discovered in 1979.

The Ashan site has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2006 (6-27).
