history

Ashbury Heights was founded in 2005 by Anders Hagström and Yasmine Uhlin after they found out they shared the same musical ideas. John Fryer mixed their first album Three Cheers for the Newlydeads , which was released in 2007. In 2008 Ashbury Heights returned with the EP Morningstar in a Black Car , in the same year Uhlin announced that she would leave the band at the last concert of the Out Of Line Festival Tour 2008 in Hamburg. Ashbury Heights, now with the new singer Kari Berg, released their second album Take Cair Paramour on July 2, 2010 .

On October 11, 2010, Anders Hagström announced the breakup of the band on Myspace.

After it was announced on Facebook at the beginning of 2013 that all problems had been resolved and new pieces were being worked on, Tea F. Thime was officially announced as the new singer in October of the same year.

On July 25, 2015, Ashbury Heights released their third album The Looking Glass Society .

On February 5, 2019, Thime announced via Facebook that he was leaving the project.
