Asia Cup 1988

The Asia Cup 1988 was the 3rd edition of the cricket competition for Asian national teams, which is held in the ODI format . In the final India was able to prevail against Sri Lanka with 6 wickets.

Attendees

The participants were all three nations with test status (India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) as well as Bangladesh.

format

The four teams played against each other team in a group. The first two teams qualified for the final and played the tournament winner there.
