The Asian Dub Foundation is a British electronic alternative band with political texts. Their music is a mix of many different styles including breakbeat , dub , jungle , rapcore and drum and bass .

The band collective was founded in 1993 by music teacher Dr. Das , the 15-year-old student Deeder Zaman and the social worker DJ Pandit founded. In the meantime, other artists are also working on the project, such as the guitarist Chandrasonic , the programmer Sun J , Rocky Singh , Pritpal Rajput , Aktar , Spex , Ghetto Priest and Horace Andy . Her songs deal with anti-racism , globalization , “ Fortress Europe ” and, in her 2005 album Tank, the Iraq war . Although originally from Great Britain, the Asian Dub Foundation celebrates its greatest successes in France .
