Asman Ridge is a 10 km long mountain range in Marie Byrd Land in western Antarctica . It rises up in the Ford Ranges just north of the Bailey Ridge on the southern flank of Arthur Glacier .
It was discovered in 1934 during overflights during the second Antarctic expedition (1933-1934) of the US polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd . Participants of the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) named him after Adam Asman (1907–1971), a member of the team on the west base on this expedition.
