Asociación para la Investigación de Medios de Comunicación (AIMC for short) is a Spanish association for communication and media studies with its administrative headquarters in Madrid .

The AIMC was founded on July 20, 1988 and confirmed by the Spanish Ministry of the Interior ( Ministerio del Interior ) as a legal organization with democratic principles. 163 companies, administrations or related media are involved in the AIMC. The media sectors include television, film, radio, newspapers, magazines, websites and companies that deal with commercial advertising (advertisers, advertising agencies, consultants).

The AIMC is responsible for the preparation of general media studies in Spain. The media analyzes Estudi General de Mitjans (EGM) are published at regular intervals.
