Asoke engineering

Asoke Engineering (also Asoke Motors ) was a Thai automobile manufacturer based in Bangkok . Mainly vehicles from General Motors , Holden and Opel were manufactured .

history

Production began in 1973 for General Motors and Siam Motors . Due to the lack of success of the vehicles, vehicle production ended in the early 1980s and the company switched to the manufacture of truck cabs and trailers.

There is no evidence of what became of the company. It was not until 2000 that GM vehicles were assembled again at General Motors (Thailand) in Thailand .

Models

Holden models and the Opel Rekord were produced . Very few vehicles were sold.

The BTV was also installed by General Motors, which was nicknamed Plai Noi (Little Elephant) in Thailand .
