Aspes

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Aspes was an Italian motorcycle brand that built enduros , motocross motorcycles and street motorcycles up to 125 cm³ in Gallarate near Milan until the mid-1980s .

Aspes celebrated one of the greatest successes in 1977 when the brand became Italian motocross champions in the 125 cc class. The model range in the 1980s included 50 cc, 80 cc (with Minarelli P6 and K6 engines) and 125 cc motorcycles with names borrowed from Indian tribes: Navaho, Hopi and Yuma . The Aspes brand has since been revived and is bringing small motorcycles and scooters back onto the market. The model range includes the first 50 cm³ hybrid scooter ( Sirio ) with a four-stroke Otto engine and an electric motor.
