Aspis Island is a small, up to 15 m high rock island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is the easternmost of the Dunbar Islands off the northeast coast of Livingston Island .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1998 after the snake creature Aspis from Greek mythology.
