A knot is a pommel shape on Swiss swords and sabers .

description

The knob is divided into six parts that run in turns to the end of the knob. These turns emerge from the end of the knob. They are cut off smoothly and resemble stumps in appearance. This type of knob was in use in Switzerland in the 15th and 16th centuries .
