The Astronomy Park , also known as the Planet Park, is a park with a model of the solar system in the Bavarian city ​​of Ingolstadt .

history

The park was created in the spring of 1998 by the Ingolstadt Observatory Association and the city of Ingolstadt. The opening took place on June 20, 1998. One reason for setting up a planetary path in Ingolstadt is, among other things, because of the achievement of the natural scientists who taught and researched at the University of Ingolstadt between 1472 and 1800 .
