Asumi Miwa
Asumi Miwa ( Japanese 三輪 明日 美 , Miwa Asumi ; born March 12, 1982 in Kanagawa Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese actress .
Life
She made her debut in 1998 in Love & Pop , for which she won the 1999 Yokohama Film Festival for the best young actress award. She got more attention in 2000 for the horror film Juon: The Curse with Takako Fuji and Chiaki Kuriyama . In the same year she also got a role in Uzumaki . In 2003 she married a director and from this marriage had two children, one born in 2003 and one in 2007. Her older sister is actress Hitomi Miwa .
