The Ataturk Stadium Lefkoşa ( Turkish Lefkoşa Ataturk Stadı ) is a multifunctional stadium in North Nicosia , Lefkoşa District , Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus . It is the largest stadium in Northern Cyprus. It is currently mostly used for soccer matches and was home to some of the 2006 ELF Cup matches . It is also the home of Çetinkaya TSK and Yenicami Ağdelen in Kuzey Kıbrıs Süper Ligi and Gençlik Gücü SK in KTFF Birinci Lig . The stadium seats 28,000 and has a tartan track , which is used for athletics competitions . In addition, here was CONIFA European football championship 2017 held.
