Location of Vogelruh (bold) in the Geiselwinder municipality
|
Vogelruh (also foxhole ) is a remote area in the district of hostage Winder hamlet of wooden Bernsdorf in the Lower Franconian district of Kitzingen .
Geographical location
Vogelruh is located in the far east of the Geiselwinder municipality. The area of the town of Schlüsselfeld in the Middle Franconian district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim begins in the north and east . To the north of the Vogelruh is the district of Hohn am Berg , while Aschbach is to the east . In the southwest, on the other hand, the Seeramsmühle is in the area of Geiselwind. A Geiselwinder district can also be found with Wasserberndorf in the west.
history
The place name of the desert does not refer to the geographical location or a historical parcel , but goes back to the surname of the builder of the property. In popular parlance, the original hallway in which the wasteland stands as a place name, foxhole, was therefore retained. The district was created in 1904. At that time, Friedrich Vogel from Holzberndorf built a property on the edge of the Holzberndorf district, which consisted of a house, stable, coach house , apiary and garden.
The naming according to one's own surname originally comes from the absolutist nobility of the 18th century. In the 19th century, the rich bourgeoisie also took up this fashion. For postal reasons, Friedrich Vogel applied to be upgraded to a separate district in 1930. On July 4, 1930, the Scheinfeld district office approved this proposal. After the death of the Vogel couple, the house was only used as a weekend home for the heirs.
