The Atkinson Cliffs are high and 6.5 km long cliffs on the Pennell coast of East Antarctica Victoria Land . They loom between the lower sections of the Fendley Glacier and the Pitkevitch Glacier .
They were first mapped by the northern group of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910–1913). They are named after the British doctor Edward Atkinson (1881–1929), surgeon on the expedition.
