The Atlas Roads ( English for, Atlas Roads ') is a natural harbor of the island Heard in the southern Indian Ocean . It lies between the Laurens and Azorella peninsulas .
It is named after the American tender Atlas from New London , Connecticut , who headed for the island of Heard in 1855 for a seal hunt .
