Atomo (unit)

The atomo was a measure of length in Parma , Turin , in the canton of Ticino and in the Italian-speaking part of the canton of Graubünden . The measure was reserved for land and field surveying.

  • 1 atomo = 7/50 Parisian line = 3/10 millimeter
  • 1728 Atomi = 1 Braccio di legno / Ackerelle
  • 12 Atomi = 1 Punto = 10 lines = 1/45 meter
  • 1 Braccio di legno = 12 Onca = 144 punti / line = 1728 Atomi = 240.333 Parisian lines
