Atsuhiko Ejiri ( Japanese 江 尻 篤 彦 , Ejiri Atsuhiko ; born July 12, 1967 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Ejiri learned to play soccer on the school team at Shimizu Commercial High School and the university team at Meiji University . He signed his first contract with Furukawa Electric in 1990 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . In 1990 he reached the final of the JSL Cup . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Furukawa Electric became JEF United Ichihara . In 1998 he reached the final of the J.League Cup . For the club he completed 218 first division games. At the end of 1998 he ended his career as a football player.
