from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Attambelus VIII was a King of the Charakene who ruled around 190 AD. He is only known for sure from the coins of his son Maga , who just describes himself as the son of a king Attambelus. However, the reading of the name is uncertain and generally reflects the poor quality of the coinage of this period. Attambelos VIII. Some bronze coins are tentatively assigned in research, which are unlabeled and show a ruler in Parthian style.
