Attilio Concari

Attilio Concari (born February 21, 1944 in Parma ) is an Italian fashion photographer and film director .

Life

Concari was already working as a fashion photographer in the 1970s; his pictures were u. a. seen in Vogue , Amica and Annabella. In addition, various short films and advertising films were made. In 1986 he shot his first feature film at 45 degrees parallel (45º parallel) . In 1993, L'amore dopo was his second and so far last film.

45th Latitude was shown in 1987 at the international forum for young films at the Berlinale . This film is set in the Po Valley and is about the American photographer Tom. He is given the task of making a photo documentation of the ecological problems in this area. He befriends Andrea and a 12-year-old boy. The exact documentary observation of this film and his sense of poetry in connection with the imaginative narration make the special charm of this film.

In 1999 Concari published a book with Davide Ferrario on the history of porn film .
