The Attwood Lake is a lake in Thunder Bay District in the western Canadian province of Ontario .
Attwood Lake is northeast of Wabakimi Provincial Park . The lake is in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of 303 m . The 37 km² long stretch of water has a north-south extension of 19 km. Attwood Lake widens to the south. The Attwood River flows through the lake from south to north. Another tributary is the Weese River , which drains neighboring Weese Lake .
Remote Attwood Lake is usually reached by seaplane. Angling tourists mainly catch eyeglasses and pike . Arctic char is added in spring and autumn . There are brook char in the tributaries of Attwood Lake .
