Extraordinary People (Original title: My Shocking Story) is a British documentary series that reports on people with physical deviations from normality and limitations. In Germany it is broadcast on RTL II .
Production and broadcast
For the first time the show has been in the Discovery Channel of the United Kingdom aired. In the US it was broadcast on The Learning Channel , in Australia on the Australian version of the Discovery Channel and Seven Network and in Italy on the Italian version of the Discovery Channel. The program was broadcast for the first time in Germany on December 12, 2009 on Focus Gesundheit and comprised 22 episodes. The first broadcast on Free TV took place with 43 episodes on January 18, 2010 on RTL II. RTL 2 also produced the series Die Schicksalsreportage , which is also entitled Extraordinary People and episodes from z. B. BodyShock and some television documentaries.
