The Audi Type G was a passenger car of the lower middle class , which the Audi works brought out the 1914th This was Audi's smallest pre-war car.
The vehicle had a four-cylinder ioe two-block in-line engine with 2.1 liters displacement at the front. It developed 22 hp at 1900 rpm. It drove the rear wheels via a four-speed countershaft transmission and a cardan shaft. The car had a ladder frame and two leaf-sprung rigid axles . It was available as a sports two-seater.
1122 copies were built by 1923. This made this model the most popular one until it was incorporated into Auto Union .
