Audiogenic Software is one of the UK's oldest video game manufacturers, formed in 1985 from what was left of an older company with the same company. Audiogenic was founded by Martin Maynard in Theale , Berkshire . The company produced computer games until 1997. After that, most of the developers were taken over by Codemasters to develop such titles as Brian Lara Cricket on the PlayStation . Despite this development, Audiogenic continues to exist. The company continues to license its existing products in order to publish them on new platforms.

Although Audiogenic was completely unknown in the USA, the company enjoyed great success in Great Britain and Australia with its sports games.
