Wilhelm Witthaus (born September 13, 1900 in Barkhausen , † June 10, 1974 in Minden ) was a German politician (NSDAP).

Live and act

Witthaus attended elementary school in Minden until 1914 . From 1916 to 1917 he was trained at the agricultural school. In 1918 Witthaus joined the Dragoon Regiment No. 15 , from which he was released again in 1919. From then on he worked as a farmer in Barkhausen.

Since 1922 Witthaus has been involved in the "Völkische Freedom Movement". In 1930 Witthaus joined the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). In the Reichstag elections of March 1933 Witt house was a candidate of the Nazi Party for the constituency 17 (Westphalia North) in the Reichstag voted, of which he was subsequently until March 1936th The most important parliamentary event in which Witthaus was involved during his three-year term was the passing of the Enabling Act in March 1933 - which was passed, among other things, with his vote .
