Audiovent

Audiovent was an American rock band founded in 1999 in Calabasas ( California , USA) under the name Vent .

When the band was founded, the band consisted of Jason Boyd (singer; brother of Brandon Boyd from Incubus ), Benjamin Einziger (guitarist, brother of Mike Einziger from Incubus ) and Paul Fried. Jamin Wilcox later joined the band as a drummer.

According to the band's own statement, Nirvana , The Beatles and Led Zeppelin were among the influences of the band in the beginning , and later Pink Floyd and early works by David Bowie were added.

They toured the coast of California incessantly.

In 2001 they agreed on a contract with Atlantic Records and, together with producer Gavin Mackillop, began recording their first album, Dirty Sexy Knights In Paris , officially known as Audiovent . The album reached number 156 on the Billboard charts in 2002 . The separation followed in 2004.
