Audrey Phaneuf (born March 24, 1996 in Boucherville ) is a Canadian short tracker .

Career

Phaneuf had her first international success at the 2014 Junior World Championships in Erzurum . There she won the silver medal with the relay. She started the World Cup for the first time in the 2014/15 season in Shanghai , finishing 17th and eighth over 500 m. In the further course of the season she won her first World Cup victory in Dresden with the relay over 3000 m. At the 2015 Junior World Championships in Osaka , she won silver in the 500 m. In the following season, she came in all World Cups over 500 m under the top ten, including third place in Nagoya and thus reached seventh place in the World Cup over 500 m. It also took third place in Nagoya with the relay and second in Shanghai with the relay. At the 2016 Short Track World Championships in Seoul , she won the silver medal with the relay.
