Audronė Jankuvienė

Audronė Jankuvienė (born March 14, 1960 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian journalist and politician who has been a Seimas member since 2019 .

Life

In 1978 Audronė graduated from high school with honors at the 27th Middle School in Dainava, her hometown of Kaunas. From 1978 to 1983 she completed a degree in journalism at the Vilniaus universitetas in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . From 1984 to 2007 she was a correspondent for the newspaper Kauno diena and from 1999 to 2007 she was deputy editor-in-chief . She published numerous research journalism, problem and analytical writings (articles) on political, economic and social topics, about 600 journalistic commentaries.

From 2016 to 2019 she was an assistant and civil servant in the Seimas office . She has been a Seimas member since July 9, 2019 (after the EP election). Audronė Jankuvienė is a member of the LVŽS group.

Audronė Jankuvienė is married to Gediminas Jankus and has two daughters.
