The third album Elysium already differed from the first two works, but with On the Way in Your World a completely new path is now being embarked upon. With the elimination of the gloomy melodies, the band has turned its back on metal with this album and is now musically tending more towards the mainstream and rock music of the 70s. With songs like I hold you or No Land in Sight, there are now dreamy sounds and soft melodies. The religious and religious-critical aspects of the texts are no longer noticed. In return, the songs are now attested to a spirit of optimism, whereupon song titles such as We live , stand up! or everything will indicate well .
Regarding the change of style, the band said that on Elysium “the dark and melancholy side of Eisheilig was fully savored” and the band “just wanted to express the other side of this band”. It was also emphasized that the music is now more oriented towards rock music than was the case at the beginning of the band's history. It was also said that “the new album […] is not a 2nd Elysium” and yet “unmistakably ice holy [is] and […] has other qualities”, as it illuminates “the softer, deeper side of the band”.
