In relaxed is the debut album of the German rapper Estikay . It was released on January 20, 2017 on the independent label Goldzweig and is distributed by Four Music .
background
On September 2, 2016, Sido , the label founder of the Berlin independent label Goldzweig , signed the Hamburg-born Estikay under contract. Both artists have previously worked together on Album VI . At the time of the deal, Estikay announced its debut album. It was supposed to be titled Auf relaxed and appear in spring 2017. The singles Broken German , Drecksau and Miami to Paris were made available in advance on YouTube as a music video.
The album features guest contributions from Sido, Adesse and Taimo. The 14 songs were produced by Kimbo Beatz , Sinch , Typhoon and Victor Flowers . The music is mainly based on boom bap .
On January 27, the album reached number six in the album charts determined by GfK Entertainment in Germany.

The album drew both criticism and praise shortly after its release. The reviewer from the online magazine rap.de wrote that the album was “simply coherent background sound.” Label founder Sido also ran “on the two songs on which he is featured [...] in top form that has not been heard for a long time” .
For Laut.de magazine, the impression remains from the album that “because someone wants to advance to the new cro, with poppy, easy living fuss of a marauder who is on his pants, but is actually a very good guy.” But “even if the beats are almost outstanding, fans of pure boom-bap-rap will probably […] not really make friends with Estikay. "
