Resurrection Church Ludwigsburg

The Protestant Church of the Resurrection in Ludwigsburg was built in 1934 as a provisional wooden church and was initially another sermon point of the Ludwigsburg city church .

Due to the influx of refugees, it had to be expanded in 1952 and was given its current form. The wood paneling inside gives it a particularly homely atmosphere. Walther Kohler designed the window in the chancel. It shows scenes from the life of Jesus. The artist Inge Wanner created two triptychs .

The site of the Church of the Resurrection used to be the depot of the Ludwigsburg overhead line railways , which were closed in 1926 , after which it was used for a few years as a storage area for the buses of the Ludwigsburg transport lines .
