The Resurrection Church in the Littenweiler district of the city of Freiburg im Breisgau is a Protestant church and sermon church in the parish of Freiburg-Ost. It was built in 1961/62 according to plans by the architects Herbert Dörr (1924–2002) and Klaus Gottschall (1923–1995). It is entered in the list of cultural monuments in Baden-Württemberg and is also one of the reliably open churches .

The church is a central building with a free-standing bell tower . The circular church (strictly speaking a dodecagon) is supposed to be modeled on a crusader tent, with twelve concrete double pillars supporting the roof symbolizing the tent poles, in between white, non-load-bearing walls resemble the tent walls. Between the two double supports, colored ribbon windows extend from the floor to the ceiling, while a clear ribbon of windows runs over the side walls below the ceiling.

Inside, the church is oriented from the southwest to the altar in the northeast. Above the entrance is a gallery with an organ from the Willi Peter workshop from 1967, which has 24 stops on two manuals and a pedal . It was thoroughly renovated in 2018 by the Freiburg Orgelbau Späth workshop .

The colored, abstract light strips between the double supports were designed by the painter and glass artist Kurt Frank and cast by the art glass workshop Böcherer. They are supposed to symbolize the path from passion to resurrection, starting with dark blue and gray tones next to the entrance to bright red and yellow tones next to the altar.

The free-standing “tower” is actually just a bell carrier: two 29-meter-high concrete slabs at an angle support an open steel bell cage in the upper area , in which five bells hang. You enter the church after stepping between the two concrete panels in front of the entrance.
