The Pfaffenthal-Oberstadt elevator is a glass elevator system in Luxembourg that connects the Parc Pescatore in the upper town with the Pfaffenthal district in the Alzettetal and within walking distance to the Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg train station there .

After 6 years of construction, the elevator opened on July 20, 2016. The mountain station is the end of the Pfaffenthal bridge. The cost of building the elevator system was 10.5 million euros.

The elevator is designed for up to 12 pedestrians or up to 6 cyclists, according to information the load capacity is 5 tons or 66 people. The elevator car measures 2.70 meters × 3.70 meters and was delivered on March 3, 2016. It has a monitor that shows the height and elevator speed. The 60 meter difference in altitude can be mastered in less than 30 seconds. Between July 22, 2016 and July 3, 2017, 450,000 lift trips were registered.

The mountain station offers a panorama over Kirchberg and Pfaffenthal. A glass plate that can be walked on enables a look downwards.
