Oberstadt ( Luxembourgish : Uewerstad , French : Ville-haute ) is a district in the center of Luxembourg City . At the end of 2016, 3,517 people lived in the quarter. The area of ​​the district is 106 hectares.

Attractions

In the district there are numerous representative buildings and squares of the old town such as the Parade Square , Place Guillaume II , the Cathedral of Our Lady and the Grand Ducal Palace .

The old town is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the fortresses .
