Eye journey
Augenreise is the name of an art cycle path that runs between Bozen , Kardaun and Blumau in the southern Eisack Valley ( South Tyrol ) and is part of the Eisack Valley Cycle Route .
Under the motto “Art knows no handicap”, the KIMM Protected Workshop of the Salten-Schlern district community launched an integrative art project in 2007, in which not only artists from the Protected Workshop but also children from the kindergarten and primary school in Kardaun as well as the Middle school in Blumau involved.
The 6 km long bike path leads past 12 sculptures, 7 columns and 80 flags, drawings and wall paintings.
