August Adolphus Busch (born June 15, 1964 in St. Louis in the US state of Missouri) is a former American brewery entrepreneur. He was the last CEO of the Anheuser-Busch Companies from the founding Anheuser-Busch family.

Life

Busch is the great-great-grandson of Adolphus Busch and the great-great-great-grandson of Eberhard Anheuser . He is a son of Susan Busch (née Hornibrook) and August Anheuser Busch (* 1937). Busch's parents divorced when he was five years old; after that he lived with his mother. Most of the time he spent with his father in the brewery; the relationship was therefore largely professional-oriented. "

After graduating, he followed the family tradition and worked first as a brewery apprentice in the malt house , then as an intern in the center for yeast cultivation and later as a foreman in the packaging and shipping department. In 1989 he went into marketing and developed the new Bud Dry variety , which after initial successes flopped over the long term.
