Life

Busch is the great-grandson of Adolphus Busch and the great-great-grandson of Eberhard Anheuser . He is a son of Gussie Busch .

Busch studied at the University of Arizona without obtaining a degree, which is why he was given a paternal ultimatum that prompted him to take a position in the brewery in the lowest tariff group. From 1975 to June 2002, Busch was ABC's Chief Executive Officer. He served as chairman of the board of directors of ABC from 1977 to 2006 and resigned from executive functions on November 30, 2006.

Busch was married twice; the children August Adolphus and Susan Busch-Transou emerged from the first marriage with Susan Hornibrook. The two younger children Steven Busch and Virginia "Ginny" Busch come from the second marriage with the lawyer Virginia Busch. All four children were involved in the business functions of Anheuser-Busch in different ways.
