August Fischer (politician, 1890)

August Fischer (born December 31, 1890 in Hagen ; † June 4, 1962 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( FDP ).

Life and work

After attending school, Fischer completed a commercial apprenticeship and worked as an authorized signatory in the iron industry. In 1922 he became an independent wire wholesaler. He became a member of the FDP in 1945. Fischer was represented on numerous FDP committees.

From April 20, 1947 to June 17, 1950, Fischer was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected from his party's national list.
